Dr. Subhendu Dutta joined the Department of Energy Science and Engineering, IIT Delhi in December 2020. He received a Ph.D degree in electrical engineering from the Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Bombay, Mumbai, India. Prior to join the CES, IIT Delhi he served as an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT (BHU), Varanasi, UP, India. He also served as a project manager in the National Centre for Photovoltaic Research and Education (NCPRE), IIT Bombay after his Ph.D. He received "Excellence in Ph.D. Research Award" of IIT Bombay for the year 2018-2020. His current research interests include shading effect on solar photo voltaic system, application of power electronics for the solar photovoltaic systems, design and efficiency improvement of power electronic converter for solar photovoltaic applications, dc-dc converter, high frequency switching converter design and design of magnetic elements.
