Vinod Kumar has completed his Ph.D. in Physics in the field of transparent conducting oxide. After completion of his Ph.D., He joined as a Research Associate at Inter University Accelerator Centre (formerly Nuclear Science Centre), New Delhi, India in the field of swift heavy ions on the properties of metal oxide thin films. After completed RA, He moved to join as a Postdoctoral research project at Department of Physics, University of the Free State, Bloemfontein, South Africa in the field of up and down conversion nanophosphors. He joined as an Inspire Faculty at Centre for Energy studies, IIT Delhi since Dec 2015. He have published more than 80 papers in the international reputed journal with the h-index of 19. His current research interests are in the development of nanostructures, nanocomposites, nanophosphors and thin films for optoelectronic, display and photovoltaic devices.
