Sandeep Pathak Recieved his PhD from the University Of Cambridge, U.K. in 2011, working in the group of Prof David Cardwell. He spent two years at the Clarendon Laboratory (University of Oxford, U.K.) with Prof. Henry Snaith as a postdoctoral fellow working on Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells and Perovskite Solar cell. He then joined Prof Ullrich Steiner at Cavendish Laboratory (University of Cambridge, UK) and continued to work on Perovskite based Optoelectronic devices. In October 2013, he again moved back to Oxford University (UK) to work with Prof. Henry Snaith. Subsequently, he went to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA) to work with Prof. Vladimir Bulovic.Since Feb. 2016 he has been part of the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi as an Assistant Professor.
Sandeep'sresearch is focussed on the fabrication of Perovskite based Photovoltaic Devices. His interest particularly is in both improving the state-of-the-art device concepts in terms of absolute performance and long-term device stability, whilst understanding the charge generation, transport, collection and recombination in the devices. He is also interested in unravelling the correlation between Photo-Physical properties and the microstructural properties of the semiconducting thin films. Sandeep is also keen on developing novel material for low cost high preformation photovoltaic devices.
